Portabella Mushroom Burger

INGREDIENTS:
4 portabella mushrooms
4 burger buns
1 cup cheddar cheese (or cheese of your choice)
4 slices of precooked bacon
BBQ sauce
thinly sliced fresh onion
thinly sliced fresh tomato
condiments of your choice
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut off stem of portabella mushrooms and lay stem up on a large plate. Spread your choice of BBQ sauce on top and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
Place mushrooms in BBQ (preheated to 375-400). Cook for 5 minutes with lid down. Then open lid and add bacon and cheese. Close lid and cook for another 3-5 minutes (or until cheese is fully melted).
Place mushrooms in burger buns and add tomatoes and condiments of your choice.
NOTE: This burger tastes better when you salt the mushroom first and let sit for 5 minutes before you cook. We recommend serving with garlic mayonaise, lettuce and la pickle.
